Shipping Options to Sunshine Coast
Most Ausmove customers use sea freight to send their household goods and personal effects to Sunshine Coast. No move is too big or too small, whether you have a few items or a six bedroom house load we will find the right option to fit your needs, circumstances and most importantly your budget.
These options include;
- We can pack and ship your belongings in a shared or groupage sea container. If you’re on a tight budget or have a smaller shipment this is very popular. You only pay for your portion of the shipping container and other customers pay for the balance. As a rough guideline this will take between 5- and 8-weeks door to door.
- We provide Full Container (FCL) or sole use containers for exclusive use. This is the fastest sea freight option, with an approximate transit time of 4-5 weeks door to door. This is recommended for a full house load, as a guideline the contents of a three-bedroom house usually fit into a 20ft container. A five or six-bedroom house should fit into a 40 ft container.
- Airfreight is the fastest method of getting your effects to Sunshine Coast. It is also more expensive but can significantly reduce your temporary accommodation costs, as it only takes one to two weeks door to door. Many customers use a combination of both sea and air freight. Things that are needed urgently can be sent by air, and the remainder of the shipment can follow by sea, at a lower cost.
- We routinely ship motor vehicles, in both groupage and sole use containers. A medium sized family car or mid-sized SUV will fit into a sole use 20ft container, including the building of a false wall or bulkhead to secure the load.
